I had a request this week for some wedding cards. I have not made wedding cards for such a long time and when you don’t know the couple you are making them for it makes it hard to know what to do.
I decided to do 3 cards but make them quite different. My favorite one I will have to show you another day because that was the one that was bought!
But in the mean time here are the others.
The first one is lovely and soft in Pink Pirouette and white. I used the new Great Friends butterfly (told you this was my new favorite you will see this a lot) I stamped the butterfly on Whisper white with Pink pirouette and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. I stamped the Baroque Motifs onto whisper white and embossed this with white embossing powder. Stamped Cherish in Pink Pirouette in the corner and added a couple of pearls from the pretties kit and a couple of ribbons. I mounted this using stampin dimensional onto the white card after scalloping the bottom with the straight edge scallop punch.
I’m really pleased with this very simple but really effective too.
My other card is quite different in Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss and Whisper white.
Again I used Baroque Motifs which I stamped in white onto a square of Artichoke. I mounted this onto some whisper white. I then stamped Celebrate from Wonderful Words, in white onto Mellow Moss. I mounted this on Whisper white again and tied a white taffeta bow around. Then I just put it all together.
This would make a lovely anniversary card too.
Happy Stampin
Louise
