I know another post so soon I can’t believe it myself!

I know don’t die of shock, I have just finally worked out how to link all my ‘blogs’ so I am not typing 2 blogs all the time, and I have figured out how to ‘post date’ my posts so I can type this on Wednesday and you wont see it till Friday and I don’t have to do anything..Cool eh.

Anyway down to business.

Again I am using a ‘non – Christmas’ stamp set, this is Pocket Silhouettes. This has to be one of my best selling sets, might have something to do with it being the most usedSmile.

For this card I punched out a 1 3/8” out of a post it note. This is slightly sticky on the back and is used as a mask. You position this in the centre at the top of your card then just stamp you Pocket silhouettes on top. Go around in a circle, here I have used Old Olive and a little Artichoke.

Now pick up a sponge and again go around your circle very gently building up your colour until the desired amount is reached.

Now for your berries you have 2 options. Here I just grabbed my Real Red Marker and added a few berries. I have also used the other stamp in this set with berry like dots to do this as well.

Now you can remove your post it note and add a bow. Your card is now finished…..But wait there's more…if you wish you can punch out the centre, like I have done here, and add a greeting to the inside.

Enjoy

Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

Well it is time to get on top of those Christmas cards, so I wanted to show you some super quick and easy cards,

These first ones are using Stampin’ UP’s new Artistic Etchings. I wanted to use a set that is not specifically a “Christmas” set. A couple of quick circles stamped (I have embossed theses ones in gold) then add another quick stamp for them to ‘hang’ by. I had some fine gold thread at the top of the ball. Finally I mounted the Whisper white onto Real red and then onto some Crumb Cake (old Kraft) card.

These were so quick and easy and look just as impressive stamped in Red.

I will  add some more quick and easy cards over the next few days.

Class Christmas Gifts

I have a wonderful love hate relationship with Christmas. I love the celebration and festivities and of course all the craft that I get to do…But I do wonder why I do it to myself.

This year my project was Snowman Soup. I love this idea. into a bag just put some hot chocolate, marshmallows and a candy cane, add a little poem and Christmas magic and you have snowman soup or in my case 120 of them!!!

I had 95 to do for my kids class mates and have given some to the school office ladies and the girls at lunch the other day too, just couldn’t resist.

This is usually an American thing and of course their Christmas is in the Winter so a hot chocolate is a fab idea but I couldn’t resist doing them they are so cute and the kids and parents thought they were great. i thought the freeze dried snowballs were a nice touch and they took hours to freeze like that!!
