My Baby Turns 12!!

Well just one more year of Tweens’

then we will have a teenager in the house. (I might move out for a couple of years!)

Anyway as some of you will already know Courtney is quite creative (don’t know where she gets that from) and so we spent Saturday afternoon creating some birthday invites for her sleepover on Friday night.

This is mostly Courtney’s creation, I did provide a bit of guidance and the pattern, but she did all the cutting and stamping, I just helped tie the bows and stick it together.

DSC08420  This is the front made with Green Galore and Elegant Eggplant (Favorite colours) We used the new cupcake wheel to decorate the front and inside .

The band around the front holds the wee folder closed and just slips off so you don’t need to tie the bow again. DSC08421

We used the 1, 11/4 & the 1 3/8 inch punches to cut out the circles in Green Galore and Elegant Eggplant and then mounted them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the 2 way glue pen we added a little Dazzling Diamonds glitter just for a little sparkle.

On the inside we again ran the cupcake wheel over the Green Galore with Elegant Eggplant ink and attached this to the pockets inside. Next we just added the invite and a sachet of hot chocolate as a wee treat.

We are very pleased at how this turned out. Now to figure out what to do at the actual birthday.

She did a Fabulous job.

Well done Courtney.
